Finally have the POS system up and running, normality has been returned to the shop (from my perspective anyway).

Here is my gripe and it is something I am unfortunate to encounter on a regular basis.
Why is it that people feel that the computer technician must be a male, this sort of work couldn’t possible be carried out by a female. Guess what, I am a female and I am an incredible computer technician – hardware and software. And I must ask why is it that my male counterpart gets the praise for jobs that I have actually completed.
Or better still when I greet a customer and they ask to speak to the technician. Come on guys I AM the technician….
